Saul Becomes Paul

Saul was killing Christians and thought it was good at heart;
For a trip to Damascus he did depart.
From Heaven he was surrounded with a very bright Light;
He fell to earth when he arose he had lost his sight.
Trembling he said, 'Lord what will You have me to do?'
'Go to the city, it shall be told thee what to do.'
Led by the hand to Damascus he went;
Three days without sight, food, or drink he spent.
A disciple prayed and he received the Holy Spirit and his sight;
Saul's name was then changed by God to Paul.
He confounded the Jews and they wanted to kill Saul;
But Paul knew this and he was let down in a basked on the wall.
