PAIN……..Lord, there is such pain in knowing
We won't hear her laughter again,
COMFORT…..But what comfort to know she is going
To a land with no sorrow or pain,
TEARS………It seems, Lord, they won't stop flowing
We dry them, but in vain,
JOY……..But there is joy in knowing
Someday we will see her again,
FAITH…….Lord, perhaps it may waver and be so very small,
It's more than those who've never known any faith at all,
And 'til I cross that river, to this small faith I'll cling,
Into that 'Great Forever' this faith to you I'll bring,
QUESTIONS….They seem to be unending,
The 'what-if's and the 'why's',
ANSWERS…..I see none in line descending, out of the listless sky,
PRAYERS……Lord, hear our prayers ascending,
Mingled with our cries,
HOPE………..Lord, be our hope in mending
The heart that broken lies
