Top 10 ways the Obama Regime resembles the evil Empire from Star Wars

(NaturalNews) With the release of the new Star Wars: The Force Awakens film, many are analyzing the plight of the rebel cause and the Evil Empire portrayed in the film – the latter of which closely resembles the kind of world President Obama and his Marxist allies would like to see.

With that in mind, then, here are the 10 ways in which the Obama administration resembles the "fictional" Star Wars Empire:

1. Obama as Lord of the universe. Mr. "I've Got A Pen And A Phone" has often made it clear quite that if he had his way, he would rule completely – without Congress or the federal courts stopping him. After Republicans won the largest legislative majority since the Civil War, Obama, on a tantrum, dismissed them as a petulant tyrant would, and vowed defiance, saying, "We're not just going to be waiting for legislation in order to make sure that we're providing Americans the kind of help they need. I've got a pen and I've got a phone. And I can use that pen to sign executive orders and take executive actions and administrative actions that move the ball forward ..."

2. Imperial president. Obama's executive actions on immigration and "climate change," – in violation of federal law – as well as the manner in which the then-Democratic majority in the Senate helped him ram through sycophantic judges on the DC Circuit – the federal courts that decide the constitutionality of his regulations – are exactly the actions an Imperial Emperor would take.

3. Yes, the regulations. Obama, as emperor-wannabe, ignores the Legislative Branch, and uses his pen and phone to pass executive orders, which have the full weight of law.

4. Opposing good. In Star Wars there is a Dark Side, established in opposition to the Jedi Knights – a force for good and justice. Obama is clearly on the Dark Side, which represents oppression of political opposition and those who seek to retain and reaffirm traditional American values and all that is good in our country.

5. The scheming leader. In Episodes I-III, the Evil Emperor – as Darth Sidious and later, as Chancellor Palpatine – incites and schemes and lies his way to power, just as Obama did to become president (think all of the lies he told about healthcare reform, and how he once called President Bush "unpatriotic" and "irresponsible" for creating less than half the public debt he himself has created).

6. Power-mad. Once a crisis he creates reaches its zenith, Darth Sidious-turned-Chancellor Palpatine then proposes the Republic's senate give him more power to deal with that crisis, just until the crisis has ended. Obama has made similar requests of Congress, and for selfish reasons (think of his push for economy-killing regulations and gun control). Obama says he doesn't want to take guns away from anyone, just as Palpatine said his only concern was the "safety of the people" – before he enslaved them.

7. Using conflict to gather power. In the earliest Star Wars episodes – not the first ones shown dating back to 1977, but the earliest episodes (I, II, & III) – Sidious and Palpatine use war and conflict to gather power and eventually declare an Emperorship. Some think Obama's intentional and illegal executive amnesty, his push to admit hundreds or thousands of potential terrorists posing as refugees, and his shutting down of terror investigations that could have prevented domestic attacks, could be construed as his way of creating enough chaos to use as an excuse to grab power.

8. Hollowing resistance. As Palatine, the emperor-to-be helped to weaken the republic's military forces while building his own. Obama is certainly weakening the U.S. military, in terms of numbers and capability – is he strengthening another force simultaneously?

9. Understanding the masses. A frightened sheeple republic gladly handed over power to Palpatine on his promise of restoring order. Maybe Obama believes Americans en masse would react in the same way to ordered chaos he has created?

10. Feign political dysfunction. In an earlier episode, Anakin Skywalker – who eventually becomes Darth Vader – discusses how, in the midst of political disagreements, "someone wise" ought to be able to make decisions on behalf of what he feels is best for the people. Obama's attitude is exactly the same, and he has often attempted to portray our political system as hopelessly broken, even though in historical context, our political system functions the way it always has, and was designed to.
