These may be the worst ever. But according to Hint Fashion Magazine, unisex is in. While that should be no surprise, the latest gender blending fashions are over the top. And top designers, like Vivienne Westwood, a designer of clothes for the punk-rebel-dandy look, have been pushing women in men’s garb, and now, the opposite. “If cross-dressing was a taboo, they were there to break it,” wrote Chris Nelson in an article for the magazine. “When we started to do punk,” said Westwood, “we put all of these things together to create the look of an urban guerrilla — a rebel.”

And then there’s Marc Jacobs and Tom Ford who have introduced unisex cosmetics so that men will “be able to openly peruse and purchase make-up without embarrassment or ridicule. But it’s not just London.

Brooklyn, NY has its own sexless label, Hood by Air, which, along with a host of other labels like Jean Pual Gaultier, Acne Studios, Gareth Pugh, Rad Hourani and Underground has been pushing genderless dressing.
