Britain to Hold Snap Election
Prime Minister Theresa May has called a general election for the United Kingdom on April 18, 2017 in London, United Kingdom.

On June 8, Brits will go to the polls again.

Brits will go to the polls for the third time in three years (for the Scots, it’s the fourth). At 11:00 this morning, Prime Minister Theresa May announced that Britain would hold another general election.
Ms. May currently has a slim majority of only 17 seats in Parliament. But polls show that if an election were held today, this majority would increase to more than 100.
In a clip from today’s Trumpet Daily Radio Show, Trumpet contributing editor Richard Palmer examines Ms. May’s decision to schedule fresh elections for June 8, and what will happen beyond.
