President Trump Threatens to Meet North Korea With ‘Fire and Fury’

A new United States intelligence assessment reveals that North Korea has successfully produced a miniaturized nuclear warhead that can be mounted to an intercontinental ballistic missile capable of hitting the continental United States.

On Tuesday, U.S. President Donald Trump warned that North Korea will be met with “fire and fury” if its dictator, Kim Jong-un, makes any more threats against the U.S.

Resurrection of the First Guards Tank Army

This summer, Russia is going to begin amassing troops for the biggest military exercises since the end of the Cold War: the Zapad exercises (Zapad is Russian for “west”).

The most threatening aspect of the Zapad exercises is the First Guards Tank Army, which resurrects a legacy of aggression and occupation during World War ii and the Cold War. nato Ret. Gen. Philip Breedlove said the First Guards Tank Army sends “a very clear message to the Baltics and Poland.”

The European Union gets that message.
Italy Sends Warships to Libyan Coast

Italy’s parliament voted on August 2 to dispatch its navy to the coast of Libya in an effort to stem the trafficking of African migrants into Europe. One Italian warship has already arrived and a second is on the way.

Italy’s deployments are not just an act of desperation. They also fall in line with its greater imperialistic ambitions.
Germany’s Shocking New Bestseller

A collection of extremist essays called Finis Germania, written by historian Rolf Peter Sieferle in 2015, is flying off the shelves in Germany.

The essays are a reinterpretation of World War ii history that claims that the Allied forces wrongly tried to impute a feeling of guilt into the German people. The essays say that Germany must now free itself from such constraints.
Motion of No Confidence for South Africa?

On August 8, South African members of Parliament tried and failed in their eighth attempt in seven years to oust President Jacob Zuma through a vote of no confidence. Before the vote, a senior official from Zuma’s party had warned: “What if the [African National Congress party] is so divided and so fractured that we kill one another?” Is this the extent of the divisions within President Zuma’s party? Is this the extent of the divisions within the entire nation?
