WHAT IS THE BIBLE?

The Bible consists of 66 books written by holy men under the inspiration of God. The Bible tells the story of God’s infinite love for His created beings. God is love. God’s government is based on love. God created Humans with the ability to choose good or evil. To be a citizen of God’s kingdom, humans can live eternally if they are obedient to God’s laws of love. To choose the devil’s way is to choose not to love which leads to death.
Sadly, our parents (Adam and Eve) were deceived and chose to listen to the devil. They disconnected themselves from God, the life giver, and hence lost their eternal life. Sin led to death.
God felt infinite deep compassion over the human race and decided to send His Son to die instead of them. The innocent Son of God died on our behalf so we can go gain back eternal life.
Salvation is available for those that accept the death of Jesus on their behalf. Those that accept Christ death must live a life of obedience to God’s law of life. And those the reject Jesus’ death on their behalf will have to die for their own sins.
The good news is that God not only offers forgiveness for sin but He also gives the power to live in obedience. He gives His children victory over sin.
