Thursday, the Republican tax reform effort, led by President Donald Trump, caps the biggest legislative win for the White House in 2017.

Even more important, it’s another huge win for the American taxpayer.
Free from Democratic control for the first time in eight years, 2017 saw the economy grow at a blistering pace. Home sales rates have hit a 10-year high. Overall, unemployment and jobless claims are the lowest they’ve been in decades.
For minority workers, 2017 has been particularly good. African-American unemployment is the lowest it has been since 2000. Hispanic unemployment rates are the lowest they’ve been in 44 years.
The stock market has gained over 5,000 points this year, and hit a record-high 70 times. Major corporations like AT&T and Comcast have announced billions of dollars in infrastructure investment to kick off 2018. Illegal immigration is at a 17-year low, and overall crime rates in America have dropped over 2.5 percent in just one year.

It’s not over yet, either. Leading economists agree that the economy shows no signs of slowing down (or overheating) in 2018.

The media is so rabidly anti-Trump, they’ve literally spent days talking about how many scoops of ice cream he has at dinner (two) and how many diet Cokes he drinks per day (12) instead of real, substantial policy changes have positively effected the everyday lives of American workers.
