ONE.............

One

I felt as if I was all alone,
I thought that no one cared.
I was certain nobody could understand,
My pain was something that no other shared.

Then one day as I punched the channels,
Of my car radio,
I came across an old-time preacher,
And the glorious story he told.

He spoke about a peace,
Something I wish I knew.
He spoke about eternal love,
Just waiting for me and you.

I had to pull my car over,
Through tears I could not drive.
I realized the reason that Christ died,
Was so that we could be alive.

And now Christ is always near,
I never feel alone,
I used to be all by myself,
But now Jesus and I are ONE.
