Independence Day
The battle cry of freedom called salvation rings out to those who will believe
Freedom from the tyranny of the great oppressor and the bondage of sin at last!
Explosions heard overhead as the angelic host above celebrates each new victory
Fear and doubt overcome as the enemy loses ground and starts his hasty retreat.
The great commander's calling out - battle plans drawn up for the very last time
No retreat, no surrender, no compromises as we draw together for the final encounter.
Putting on the armor of God as we prepare for our destiny and that of the world's
The signs of the times cast no doubt as to whether or not today is the day!
Cheers from those who have gone on before us, how they celebrate the times
And oh how they wish they were again in the thick of the battle alongside us.
We must never give up the fight but always give in to the Father's direction - press in
For the battle is at hand, fight for the rest of mankind's freedom and celebrate your own!
