A HOLY CALLING...

A Holy Calling


Striving to walk in the light and not in the darkness.

Choosing to do God's will over our will.

Endeavoring to tell the world about our loving Saviour

And of his message of hope and love.

Denying our desires to allow God’s Spirit to flow though

Our being and out onto others.

Listening for that still small voice even though it means

Turning off the bountiful distractions of the world.

Giving to those who are in need without expecting anything

Back from them in return - doing it all in secret.

Praying for the needs of others long before we ask God to

Bless and keep us and our families.

Actually spending time just praising God and not once

Complaining nor asking for anything from him.

Asking God to search our hearts and our souls for worldly

Imperfections and being willing to heed his word.

Resting in faith that what His word says is righteous and

Always true and never leaves any room for doubt.

Believing beyond the shadow of a doubt that good - will

Prevail in the end and that someday we will all be perfect.

Some believers and non-believers alike feel that these goals

and dreams are just abstract ideas but we the remnant know better.

Striving for perfection and obedience - it’s our Holy calling.
