California seeks to criminalize certain Bible teachings in latest outrageous assault on Christianity

(Natural News) A new bill put forth by some members of the California legislature threatens to eliminate access to certain passages of the Bible that deal with sexuality and morality.
Assembly Bill 2943 would amend Sections 1761 and 1770 of California’s Civil Code to basically outlaw the sale of any goods, including religious texts, that deal with issues related to sexual orientation and gender.
In legal terms, the legislation would make it an “unlawful business practice” to engage in “a transaction intended to result or that results in the sale or lease of goods or services to any consumer” that in any way advertises, offers to engage in, or does engage in “sexual orientation change efforts with an individual.”
In other words, passages like Leviticus 18:22 and 20:13 would presumably have to be edited out of all new Bibles sold at Christian bookstores throughout California in order for them to continue to be sold in the state. And such drastic, crushing changes would all happen, of course, under the guise of protecting LGBT “human rights” and promoting “tolerance.”
The bill is very specific in defining “sexual orientation change efforts” as “any practices that seek to change an individual’s sexual orientation. This includes efforts to change behaviors or gender expressions, or to eliminate or reduce sexual or romantic attractions or feelings toward individuals of the same sex.”

LGBT mafia and Democrats HATE Christianity and freedom of religion
Like most legislative bills of this type, the devil is in the details. On its surface, it purports to simply outlaw so-called “conversion” therapy and other programs designed to help homosexuals, transgenders, and other LGBTers become straight. But at its core, what it really aims to eliminate is Christianity itself.
This is the modus operandi of the LGBT mafia, after all – to silence everyone and everything that believes or teaches something different than LGBT doctrine. The community of “tolerance” is probably the most intolerant group of people on the planet, and the most militant when it comes to trying to legislate their own acceptance into society.
Truth be told, the word “tolerance” has become nothing more than an empty buzzword that LGBTers love to throw around as they pretend to be perpetual victims who are always somehow being persecuted. In reality, though, they’re actually the ones constantly persecuting everyone else with whom they disagree.
What happened recently to former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee is a perfect example of the LGBT mafia’s extreme bullying tactics. Not even one full day after being appointed to the board of directors of the Country Music Association’s CMA Foundation for underprivileged youth, Huckabee was basically threatened into resignation by powerful LGBT bullies who refused to tolerate his conservative presence within the organization.
This latest assault with the introduction of AB 2943 is no different. Because Christianity and the Bible are very clear in defining marriage and sex as being exclusively reserved for one man and one woman, the LGBT brigade of cultural Marxists is trying everything to stamp them out from American society.
