Faith Seed

What does the world know about faith

Other than it’s a popular name for a girl?

Some Christians even look at faith as

Nothing more than wishful thinking.

The bible is full of "faith" messages

Yet generations of non-believers and

Believers alike both choose to discount

It’s immeasurable value to God’s children.

Faith is that little glimmer of hope that

Resides deep down inside the most hardened

Of hearts and the most callused of souls.

It was placed within us at birth and awaits the

Proper care and nourishing that sustains it.

Once we sell out to God and accept his son

That "faith seed" immediately starts to grow

Yet even then if we neglect it’s care it will

Go back to it’s former state until we change.

If we choose to feed our faith it will grow and

As it grows it will raise us up to another level in our

Relationship with the creator of the universe.

How do we feed our faith you ask? We feed it by

Acting on God’s word which instructs us to believe

That we have what we ask for - we must know, that

We know, that we know - that God does not lie and

Has never gone back on his word - we humans are

The weak link in this "chain of faith" -not the Father!

Growing faith is the result of a cycle, the more we trust

God the more likely we are to believe that he will answer

Our prayers, the more prayers that are answered the

More we trust Him and the stronger our faith grows.

The final test comes when we don’t have a prayer answered.

Do we immediately turn from God or do we have the

Faith to believe that he has something better in store

For us? We keep our faith activated by thanking God

Who is infinitely more wise than we could ever be.
