SMILE........

Smile

As the storm clouds brew and slowly

Make their way over your head - smile.

When your so called friends turn on you

And gossip behind your back - just smile.

As the money in your bank account quickly

Disappears before the next payday - smile.

When you feel the slight twinge of arthritis

Gnawing at your joints and spine - smile again.

Now that you think I'm a lunatic I will just smile!

For you see, greater is HE who is in us than he

Who is in the world and so we have a mighty

Comforter who travels and travails with us.

He does so continuously and so therefore we

Can endure what no unbeliever can endure

And we have hope where there is no hope, and

Strength when all of those around us are

Exhausted, down trodden, and finished.

So smile I say, hold your head up, look the

Devil straight in the eye and just smile so that

We can remind him and all of those around us

That our God is a mighty God and through His son

We can do all things even if it means at the moment

to just smile.
