RIVERS OF HEALING

Rivers of Healing

The grounds tremble and the heavens shake

As mighty rivers of healing burst forth from the

Once dry useless wells that have always existed but

Have gone unused and unnoticed - that is, until now.

Latter day rain has birthed these powerful torrents

Of love, compassion, healing, and thankfulness.

The sound of the powerful rushing water is able to

Drown out the lies of the enemy and cause all of

God’s children to be drawn to the one true Healer,

Physician, and Counselor - Jesus Christ, His son.

The enemy is powerless to impede the flow of these

Rivers or to stop the birthing of newly created ones.

Cutting deep and wide through the scarred landscape

Of damaged human souls these rivers leave in their paths

Renewal, restoration, hope, endurance, and a passion within

Each freed captive to bring forth fresh water in old wells.

Breaching their banks at every opportunity and touching

The lives of all who will seek refreshment in their clear cool

Healing waters, no one will go away unsatisfied or thirsty.

There is no pain in this birthing process but only celebration

And rejoicing as the Master’s children prepare for his arrival.
