Realization

Breathe through my soul almighty Father

I invite you.

Fill my being with your ever lasting presence

I crave it!

Refresh my mind with each loving breath

That is my desire.

Touch my body with your healing power

It needs you also.

Hold me with your strong comforting hands

I am so weary.

Send your glorious joy down upon me

I’ll share it with others.

Please shower me with your peace and rest

I want to be sheltered in your shadow.

Cover me all around with your protection

I’m tired of standing in my own shadow.

Once again I find myself falling at your feet

Having again foolishly attempted to "go it alone".

I’ve stubbornly realized once and for all just how much

I really need you.
