Jesus Will Return

There are promises in the Bible
That bring peace to you and me.
When we claim these promises,
How very comforting they can be,

One great and precious promise
Is a glorious one we have heard.
Christ Jesus will return one day.
That is promised in God's Word.

Comfort one another with the words,
"Christ Jesus will surely return.!"
Christians should love His appearing,
For in the Scriptures, this we learn.

Yes, Jesus Christ will come again
"In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye,"
At the last trump, when it shall sound,
Believers will meet Him in the sky.

"Come up hither" are comforting words.
These are words Christians may hear.
When Jesus calls His children home,
That's a time of joy and not of fear.

Will you meet Jesus up in the air?
Have you accepted Him as your Savior?
If not, please accept Jesus today,
And stand justified in God's favor.
