My Sister in Christ

Walking tall and strong when those along side of her stumble

Yet always willing to lovingly reach out and help those in need.

Sacrificing her precious time by spending it in prayer for those

She doesn’t really know but for whom she diligently intercedes anyway.

Giving off a radiance of joy and wisdom in the Lord that transcends

The physical and the natural so much so that one who has never met her nor

Heard her voice is affected, blessed, nurtured, and divinely strengthened.

A Godly woman who daily lives her life in time with the heartbeat of the

Father and who listens closely for his still small voice during every hour.

She’s a mighty spiritual warrior but also a kind and gentle example of the

Master’s touch and the Master’s way - something this world needs now.

Beauty that reverberates from deep down inside her soul and even if her

Physical appearance were less than attractive it would go on unnoticed

Simply because of the Godly elegance of her soul and the happiness in

Her heart - simply human yet living closer to perfection than many.

She has her "down" days, she has her "bad" days but she presses in and

Pushes on through the trenches and someone manages to bring others

Along with her - no matter how hard or grueling the trip was for herself.

Words of comfort, words of peace, words of confirmation - invaluable words

Dispensed by one who not only follows the Lord but diligently pursues Him!
