Chuck Schumer admitted something that will have Democrats up in arms

Democrats are looking at the 2018 midterms as a massive opportunity.
They think they can win back control of Congress.

However, Chuck Schumer admitted one thing Democrats did not want to hear.

Schumer appeared on a New York City radio show to discuss the upcoming elections.
He was asked about the Democrat’s changes to win the Senate.
Schumer admitted it would be a “very hard task.”

Sunday on New York AM 970 radio’s “The Cats Roundtable,” Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) discussed the 2018 midterm elections and said it would be a “very hard task” for Democrats to take the Senate.
“I’d love to see the Senate go blue. It looks like a very hard task because the geography is against us,” Schumer told host John Catsimatidis. “There are 25 Democrats up for re-election [and] eight Republicans. And many of the Democrats come from states where Donald Trump won by more than 20 points. But recently there’s been a move to Democrats.”
He added, “I would call it neck and neck. I can’t be certain at all that the Democrats will take over the Senate, but it’s a much greater possibility now than it was even two months ago.”
Democrats need to flip two Republican seats to take back the Senate.
They have good opportunities in Arizona and Nevada to make that happen.
But they also have to defend ten Senate seats in states Donald Trump won in 2016.
The GOP is favored to take back the North Dakota Senate seat.
And they also have strong chances for victory in Florida and Missouri.

Republicans also have outside chances in Montana, Indiana and West Virginia to pick up seats.
If Republicans can hang on to the Senate they can block impeachment.
They can also continue to confirm Trump’s conservative judicial nominees.
