After Clinton says ‘you cannot be civil’ with GOP, Sen. Rand Paul says those inciting violence will have blood on their hands

An unfortunate hallmark of the Democrat-led “resistance” against President Donald Trump has been increasingly heated rhetoric and sharp vitriol toward Republicans — which has manifested recently as calls for continued incivility and violence from prominent voices on the left.

One of those voices is that of failed Democrat presidential nominee Hillary Clinton, who seemed to suggest in a recent interview that Democrat incivility toward Republicans would only end once Democrats had reclaimed political power in Congress and the White House. And Republicans like Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) haven’t hesitated to respond.
“You cannot be civil with a political party that wants to destroy what you stand for, what you care about,” Clinton said in an interview with CNN’s Christiane Amanpour.
Someone could get killed
“I believe, if we are fortunate enough to win back the House and or the Senate, that’s when civility can start again,” Clinton added in her interview. “But until then, the only thing that the Republicans seem to recognize and respect is strength.”

Meanwhile, there are legitimate fears that the harsh rhetoric and vitriol of Democrats against Republicans has only served to further outrage an already inflamed base to the point that some will feel compelled to resort to violence.
Sen. Paul — who has been shot at, brutally assaulted, and threatened with gruesome death by angry leftists, as has his wife — is warning that somebody will soon get seriously hurt or killed if Democrats don’t quickly cool their heated rhetoric and tone down their incitement for mob action.
In an interview with Kentucky talk radio host Leland Conway, Paul said, “I fear that there’s going to be an assassination.”

He added: “I really worry that somebody is going to be killed. That those who are ratcheting up the conversation…have to realize they bear some responsibility if this elevates to violence,.”
Someone must be accountable
Clinton’s remarks about continued incivility are nothing short of threats to Republicans and American voters, as they provide cover for angry leftists to continue to engage in mob action that will inevitably lead to violence at some point.
Paul’s very real concern is that the violence that will stem from the mob action of enraged leftists will result in someone being injured or murdered, and he has placed the blame for those impending casualties on the Democrats who have called for such actions.

Sen. Paul has personally been on the receiving end of liberal-inspired violence, having been shot at by the deranged leftist who attempted to mass murder the Congressional Republican baseball team and having been brutally assaulted by his liberal neighbor while mowing his lawn, so he knows first-hand what he is talking about.
Democrats who continue to amp up their left-wing base and condone these activities will be the ones responsible for the injuries or tragic deaths that may very well come along with said violence. Such rhetoric and vitriol needs to end now, before we reach that horrific point.
