Michael Avenatti has solidified himself as the worst lawyer in history.

This month a judge dismissed Avenatti client and porn star Stormy Daniels’ lawsuit against President Trump.

Now Senator Chuck Grassley dropped the hammer and it could lead to prison time.

Just as the Senate Judiciary Committee was preparing to hear Christine Blasey Ford’s testimony, news broke of a second accuser.
Michael Avenatti’s client, Julie Sweatnik, accused now-Justice Brett Kavanaugh of being a ringleader at gang rape parties in high school.
She even signed her name to a sworn written statement.
Avenatti used the statement as proof of her credibility.

If it’s proven she lied on her sworn statement, she could be convicted of perjury and face jail time.

And now Senate Judiciary Chairman Chuck Grassley has announced he’s referring Michael Avenatti and Julie Swetnik for criminal investigation.

Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley said Thursday he has referred attorney Michael Avenatti and client Julie Swetnick — who accused Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh of sexual misconduct — for criminal investigation regarding a potential “conspiracy” to provide false statements to Congress and obstruct its investigation.
Avenatti, who also is a potential 2020 Democratic presidential candidate and works as the attorney for porn star Stormy Daniels, represented Swetnick, who accused Kavanaugh during confirmation proceedings of being involved in or present at “gang” and “train” rapes at high school parties in the 1980s. He denied it.
Grassley penned a letter to Attorney General Jeff Sessions and FBI Director Christopher Wray Thursday, claiming Swetnick and Avenatti’s allegations were leveled at a “suspicious” time.
Avenatti is trying to position himself to win the Democrat presidential nomination.
But at this rate he could be more likely to end up in prison.
