JSUS AROSE FROM THE DEAD!

JESUS AROSE FROM THE DEAD!

Jesus arose on the First Day of the Week from the Dead;
On the Cross a Crown of Thorns they had placed on HIS Head.
You see He died on the Cross for you and for Me;
He was our sacrifice so from our sins we could all be set Free.

To Jesus their sins the People Brought;
To go to Heaven is what they Sought.
After He died on the Cross they laid HIM Away;
In the new tomb HIS Disciples thought HE would Stay.

Mary Magdalene came to His tomb early while dark on the First Day;
She ran and told the disciples found the big stone had been rolled Away.
'HE is not here', the Angles in shinny white robes had Said;
'HE is already Risen from the Dead.'

Now HE rules in Heaven at the right Hand of the Heavenly Father Above;
And we should worship HIM and give HIM our undying Love.
Give your heart, soul, mind and strength to Christ Jesus the Lord;
And some day we will be worthy to enter Heaven as our Reward.
