My Hobby Makes Me Happy

I like to write about Jesus,
Though it brings me no fame,
It makes me so very happy
To exalt His precious name.

My love for my dear Savior
Just seems to ever overflow.
I express my thoughts in poems.
My love for Him, I'll show.

This hobby makes me happy,
Giving me peace and comfort too.
I will write of my Redeemer.
That is what I want to do.

Jesus loves me much more
Than my words can ever tell.
He shed His blood on Calvary
To save my soul from Hell.

My words can never ever express
The great love He has for me.
My poems are only feeble attempts
Until His dear loving face I see.
