JESUS CHRIST AROSE FROM THE DEAD

Jesus Christ arose on the First Day of the Week from the Dead;
A Crown of Thorns they had placed on HIS Head.
He died on the Cross for you and for me;
So from our sins we could all be set free.

To Jesus their sins the People Brought;
To go to Heaven is what they Sought.
After He died on the Cross they laid HIM away;
In a tomb HIS Disciples thought HE would stay.

When they came to the tomb early in the week on the First Day;
They found that the stone had already been rolled away.
'HE is not here,' the Angles in shiney white robes Said;
'HE has already Risen from the Dead.'

Now HE rules in Heaven with our Heavenly Father Above;
And we should worship HIM and give HIM all our Love.
If our heart, soul, and mind we give to the Almighty Lord;
Some day we will enter Heaven as our Reward.
