(NaturalNews) UK health authorities have approved a new seasonal flu vaccine made by Sanofi Pasteur MSD UK that contains four influenza virus strains – but will it prove to be either safe or effective?

The answer is likely neither, and there's plenty of evidence to support that assertion.

In general, flu vaccines are dangerous and largely useless, and adding a fourth strain to the typical three strains contained in these shots only increases the health risks associated with receiving them.

The guessing game
In the first place, deciding which strains to include in the vaccines each year is a complete guessing game, and one which often fails.

From Think Twice:

"There are three main types of influenza virus, and each type can mutate, or change, from year to year. Thus, there are literally thousands of possible strains."

Vaccine makers have often been wrong in their guesses, leading to millions of people receiving flu shots that were completely useless.

This has happened at least four times over the past 12 years, and – interestingly enough – flu deaths did not increase during the years when the "experts" missed the mark with their guesses.

The new quadrivalent Sanofi vaccine contains two A strains (A/H1N1 and A/H3N2) and two B strains (B/Victoria and B/Yamagata) of the influenza virus.

Flu vaccines are ineffective
But even if the makers of the vaccine managed to guess correctly, there's a good chance that the shots will still be ineffective in preventing the flu, particularly in children.

"Scientific review of over 50 studies involving 260,000 children ages 6 to 23 months did not uncover any evidence that young children benefit from the flu vaccine. In fact, results showed the flu shot was no more effective than a placebo. The new Sanofi vaccine has been approved for children as young as 36 months. These children are likely to receive no benefit at all, but will face numerous health risks from the vaccine itself.

Flu vaccine health risks and CDC lies
And the risks are serious, indeed. Flu vaccines contain mercury at levels far above the maximum allowable daily exposure limit, and may also contain formaldehyde and detergents, along with the flu strains themselves.

Exposure to mercury can lead to nervous system damage, memory loss, ADD and many other serious negative health effects. Formaldehyde can cause cancer, blindness and brain damage.

Health officials exaggerate the effectiveness of flu vaccines, while playing down their dangers. The claims made by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) that up to 36,000 die each year from the flu is a complete falsehood.

In fact, the CDC's own records show that only a few hundred people actually die from the flu each year, and many of those deaths involve elderly people and those with preexisting conditions or weakened immune systems.

But the risks of receiving a flu shot are serious – nerve damage, Alzheimer's and autism are among the health hazards associated with influenza vaccines.

So why are the so-called experts lying to us about the efficacy and safety of flu vaccines?

The answer, of course, is money. Flu vaccine makers rake in billions in profits, and the regulatory agencies that are supposed to protect the public have been infiltrated by Big Pharma insiders who have a stake in the profits.

The best course of action for the public is to refuse these poisonous injections and to work on building natural immunity through the use of medicinal herbs, natural supplements and foods rich in antioxidants such as vitamin C.

Don't believe what the CDC and Big Pharma tell you. The truth is that flu vaccines are unnecessary and dangerous – and the more strains they contain, the greater the health risk.
