Could hemp oil and cannabinoids stop Hillary Clinton's seizures?

(NaturalNews) Any honest observer of the 2016 presidential race would have to admit that there is something physically – and perhaps mentally – wrong with Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton.

Over the past several months, as her campaign and those of her competitors has heated up, she has exhibited several episodes of what can only be described as very bizarre behavior. As this video posted at Talk Network shows, Clinton has suffered from strange seizures, odd facial tics, over-exaggerated reactions, numerous coughing fits, tongue lesions and other indicators that suggest she may be on her way to a mental breakdown.

According to Paul Joseph Watson, an investigative journalist, psychologists and psychiatrists he spoke with told him that after Clinton fainted, struck her head and suffered a blood clot in her brain, her aberrant behavior seemed to accelerate.

The professionals told him that nearly half of cases of those who suffer such a clot injury lead to side effects and neurological issues. As reported by World Net Daily, a leading Florida neurologist believes she has some issues.

"The recent press reports about Hillary's health point to the possibility she may yet be suffering the symptoms of post-concussion syndrome," Dr. Daniel Kassicieh, D.O., a dual board certified osteopathic neurologist and a leading headache specialist who directs the Florida Headache and Movement Disorder Center in Sarasota, Florida, told WND in February.

"Electing someone to be president of the United States who has post-concussion syndrome is a real concern to me," Kassicieh said.

Studies have long indicated neurogenic benefits of cannabinoids
Clinton has been prescribed medications for a thyroid condition and to fight against her body's natural tendency to form blood clots. But are there any natural remedies for Clinton, particularly in the form of cannabinoids and hemp oil?

Some studies would suggest that the answer is yes.

As far back as 1998, researchers identified key cannabinoid receptors in the brain, which they believed were concentrated "in areas subserving spasticity, pain, abnormal involuntary movements, seizures, and amnesia."

In 2007, researchers at Hebrew University in Israel noted that several conditions and diseases – including "neurodegenerative disorders" like Parkinson's disease, Alzheimer's disease and Tourette's syndrome – are being treated by, or could be treated by, cannabinoid therapy.

In 2013, German researchers published a study in the Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society B which found that the brain's cannabinoid system is actually capable of cleansing damaged brain cells but also triggering the production of new cells – a concept that goes against all traditional thinking about brain-cell regeneration. In addition, cannabinoids work to charge mitochondria in the brain, which are the power centers that allow cells to function properly.

"I've been trying to find a drug that will reduce brain inflammation and restore cognitive function in rats for over 25 years; cannabinoids are the first and only class of drugs that have ever been effective," said Gary Wenk, a professor of neuroscience, immunology and medical genetics at Ohio State University (OSU) who assisted German researchers. "I think that the perception about this drug is changing and in the future people will be less fearful."

Research appears to indicate Clinton could benefit from therapy
By 2014, additional studies had shown that cannabinoids offer promise for treating neurological diseases, including this study by Italian researchers that was published in the journal Molecules.

As for hemp oil, this, too, shows promise for sufferers of neurological conditions like Clinton. For instance, a 2014 study published in the journal Neurology recommended that clinicians "might offer oral cannabis extract" for involuntary spasticity, inflammation of the nervous system and multiple sclerosis.

Hemp oil may also be useful in reducing the effects of Parkinson's disease – a finding that is not really new.

Will cannabinoid and hemp oil treatments and therapies be of help to Hillary Clinton, who increasingly looks as though she is suffering brain damage from her prior fall and clot? Research appears to suggest that such therapies certainly couldn't hurt.
