Abiding in His Care

I meet God every morning,
And He stays with me all day.
I ask His special guidance
In all that I do and say.

I meet Him in His holy word
And talk to Him in prayer.
I even give Him my burdens,
And I try to leave them there.

I read about His promises.
All of them, He will keep,
And I will obey his voice,
For I am one of His sheep.

I know I'm abiding in His care
When I go to bed each night.
"I'll see you in the morning, Lord,
When the darkness turns to light."
