How could I be so deceived
To think there was nothing wrong
You never left my side
Even when I was always gone

I would talk to You
But all I wanted was security
You would give it to me
Even when I lacked sincerity

I said that I loved You
But my actions said otherwise
I did all of the things
That I knew You despised

I never gave You my full attention
I cheated on You time and time again
More times than I care to mention
How could You still want to be my friend

You still want to know me
Even though I treat You like dirt and spit on Your face
What kind of a relationship is this
Thank You Lord for Your amazing grace
