Our Pride and Joy

When you gaze upon your baby boy
you're overwhelmed with love and joy;
to think that he, your little son,
will soon be big enough to run!

Daddy's pride and Mommy's joy,
gripping tight his first real toy;
not too long now (wait and see),
he will count from one to three.

Noticing your daughter's smile
you stop and look at her awhile.
Soon she'll be wearing her first dress
and look just like a real princess!

God blesses us with little ones;
with our daughters and our sons -
to teach and help them find the Way
by how we live and what we say.
