Christian numerologist says world ends Sep. 23

A Christian numerologist and self-proclaimed “researcher” just made a wild and bold prediction: The world will end Saturday.

David Meade claims he’s found evidence that the world will suffer a series of apocalyptic events that will begin September 23rd — and he claims his proof of the doomed future is written in our past.

Thankfully, numerous scientists disagree with Meade’s claims.

According to Meade, Hurricane Harvey and the recent solar eclipse were predicted in the Bible and support his theory that the planet Nibiru — or Planet X — is heading towards Earth and will cause apocalyptic natural disasters.

Specifically, he cites passage Luke 21:25-26 that reads, “There will be signs in the sun, moon and stars. On the earth, nations will be in anguish and perplexity at the roaring and tossing of the sea. People will faint from terror, apprehensive of what is coming on the world, for the heavenly bodies will be shaken.”

Codes from the bible and a “date maker” on the pyramids of Giza in Egypt point to the specific date September 23rd, Maede told The Sun.

Meade studied astronomy at the University of Louisville… but he made some serious errors, other astronomy experts say. They strongly disagree with his theory.

For example, NASA has already written off the conspiracy, which includes calculations that had previously predicted the world would end in 2012.

In a statement on the theory, NASA said, “If Nibiru of Planet X were real and headed for an encounter with the Earth… astronomers would have been tracking it for at least the past decade, and it would be visible by now to the naked eye.”

On top of the doubt from NASA, a Montreal radio produced tweeted an amusing comment she received from Meade.

Seems Meade hasn’t even convinced himself…
