Jesus said Come

Some people say we're noisy,
Some people say we're rude,
Some people say they do not like
The way we chew our food,
Some people say we're messy,
Some people say we smell,
Some people look as if
They do not like us very well

(Cho.) But Jesus said, "Come", Jesus said, "Come"
Do not send the children home,
Sit at my feet, sit on my knee,
Let all the children come to Me"

Some people say we're ugly,
Some people say we're cute,
Some people say we're very bad,
Some people say we're good,
Some people say we're getting fat,
Some say that we're too thin,
Some people just look at us
And don't say anything (Cho.) But Jesus said….

Some people say come to my house
But then when we get there
We must be quiet as a mouse
And sit upon a chair,
So we sit a little while
And look a little glum,
At last we see the people smile
When it's time to go home (Cho.) But Jesus said….
