Economic war on indie media continues as speech Nazis at Google now targeting Breitbart News’ ad revenue, just as they did with Natural News

(Natural News) I’m making a public plea right now to millionaire and billionaire conservative-libertarian investors who are looking for their next new media venture: Create a true free-speech, liberty-oriented social media platform to rival Facebook and Google, or risk losing the only voices opposed to Marxist tyranny that is rising in America.
Yes, things are getting that bad when it comes to the Left’s incessant attacks on free-speech independent media outlets, many of which are scraping by week-to-week and month-to-month as it is trying to earn enough money just to stay afloat.
Long-time readers of Natural News remember that a year ago, media behemoth Google suddenly, and arbitrarily, censored all of our content, removing it from the search giant’s algorithms so that anyone searching for the truth about vaccines, Big Pharma, alternative medical treatments and other issues concerning health freedom came up empty-handed.
Google officials gave Natural News founder/editor Mike Adams a bogus reason for de-listing all 140,000-plus pages of our content; as such, eventually, the company agreed after several days to finally begin including Natural News pages in search results again.
It’s hard to estimate how much that cost our operations in monetary terms, given that Google is the world’s most popular search engine and a major driver of traffic (which the company is well aware of and uses as an economic weapon against political opponents or voices its editors and engineers simply do not agree with). But suffice to say it was likely very significant.
The same thing is currently happening to my publication, The National Sentinel, which I believe is being downgraded and censored by Facebook. Our traffic from the social media biggie began to drop off a couple weeks ago, and noticeably so; our referral traffic is down 50-60 percent in just over a week’s time. That’s not an accident.
At the same time, the “reach” of our posts has also dropped off significantly — in some cases by as much as 70 percent, despite the fact that our audience is growing as measured by the number of “likes,” which grow by the hundreds every week.
What’s the goal of de-listing us, censoring us, downgrading our stories and posts? Simple: It’s economic warfare. These social media giants know they control the vast majority of Internet traffic and Internet advertising commerce, and they wield that power to destroy political opposition as they work to impose their own agendas.

The latest target of this abuse is Breitbart News, which reports that Alt-Left employees and managers at Google “are engaged in a relentless effort to demonetize Breitbart News from its AdSense platform and are linking advertising clients to the anti-Breitbart, far-left pressure group Sleeping Giants.”
The news site has been contacted in the past by current and past Google employees who revealed a culture of indoctrination and intimidation “driven by Leftist zealots at the company.”
Now, the site notes, current and former Google workers say the same zealots “are trying to use the company’s immense power against Breitbart News. In addition to placing pressure on management to take action against the site, they are also working to undermine Breitbart’s reputation with advertisers,” the site reported.
Breitbart’s Allum Bokhari noted further:
Breitbart News has obtained a screenshot (withheld to protect our source) that shows Google ad account manager Aidan Wilks advising another company – a client of Google’s – that advertising on Breitbart may impact their “brand safety.”
In the screenshot, Wilks can be seen linking Google’s client to the website of Sleeping Giants, a far-left organization that has repeatedly targeted Breitbart and other conservative-leaning news sites with false claims of racism and bigotry.
There is nothing “American” about an organization or a company persecuting someone they disagree with politically and culturally under the false premise of ‘fighting racism and bigotry.’
We can beat this kind of political intolerance by getting behind the creation of a social media platform dedicated to real freedom of speech and expression as it was intended by our Founders. I’m betting such a platform would grow quickly and, as a nice turnabout, begin to take revenue away from the Leftist haters.
