THE WALKING DEAD

The Walking Dead

"Lunacy to the extreme!"

So says the world.

Distorted, warped, and skewed -

As perceived by blinded believers.

Choosing death over life?

Denying self and all of life’s ambitions?

Claiming victory over a battle that no one can see?

Rejoicing in failure and celebrating each personal loss?

These creatures take no credit for their successes and

Actually shout praises to God amidst apparent defeat.

Walking as blind men through the shadowy valleys and

Purposely releasing their grip from the gold of this world.

Reaching down they grab hold of a rough hewn wooden cross

And - as they sling it onto their shoulders they immediately

Realize that they do not have the power to fix the world’s problems

Or their own - for they have now become "God’s Walking Dead".
