My Love

My love for you has no demands
There are no chains to bind
I want to be your everything
So concentrate your mind
Upon My perfect will for you
Through Jesus, My dear Son
Who has the answers that you need
Through Him, you'll overcome.

Be still, you needn't bustle round
I cannot reach your heart
Sit and listen to My voice
We need to make a start
Upon the journey through your past
That's brought you here today
The ghosts that haunt you will be slain
They'll flee and go away.

So precious child, please be alert
To all I have for you
Be brave and strong in all I do
Don't get in a stew
The future's very bright for you
The answers to your dreams
Are based upon your walk with Me
The God of living streams.
