ABC’s chief political analyst says Clarence Thomas is a ‘sexual predator’

On the eve of what is supposed to be the vote for Trump’s SCOTUS nomination, an ABC reporter dropped a bombshell.

Matthew Dowd, the network’s political analyst, called Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas a “sexual predator.”
Harsh Allegations
Dowd was responding to the recent allegations made against Judge Brett Kavanaugh.
A woman who knew him in high school levied allegations back in July that Kavanaugh had forced himself on her at a high school party.

Democrats had the letter outlining the allegations in their possession since July but waited until this week to bring up their concerns.
Dowd thinks this current case is very familiar to the case of Anita Hill.
Hill made sexual harassment allegations against then-SCOTUS nominee Clarence Thomas.

During the investigation, Hill’s credibility went into the tank.
It was found that after the alleged incident, Hill continued to follow Thomas to other jobs.
Thomas obviously went on to be confirmed on the bench.

Believe the She
In the Kavanaugh case, there are no corroborating witnesses.
The accuser is taking more than a few hits in the eye of the public because she cannot recall all the details.
For an event to have caused so much trauma, as she claims, one would think all of the details would be easier to recall.
Kavanaugh has vehemently denied the allegations and dozens of people that knew him during that time have come forward to offer letters of support for his character.
Two of ex-girlfriends from that time have also come forward, both supporting Kavanaugh.
Taking all of that into consideration, Dowd still says when it comes to “he said, she said,” we need to believe the “she” rather than the man being accused
In other words, forget justice, forget a proper investigation, just levy allegations and let’s all assume they are true.
Dowd says this woman has nothing to gain by coming forward, but we would beg to differ.

If she is, in fact, a Democrat plant or someone with an axe to grind, and there are arguments for both of those scenarios, she and Democrats have everything to gain.
So, Mr. Dowd, let’s allow all the facts to come out before ruining someone’s life.
