John Kerry says Americans should be disqualified from public office if they don't agree with global warming alarmism, but not if they hate the Constitution

(NaturalNews) In another sign that the modern Democratic Party has cast aside any remaining ties to the nation's founding principles, Secretary of State John Kerry – a long-serving senator from Massachusetts, failed presidential contender and $200-million man – believes there should be a litmus test for all future public servants: if they don't swallow the "global warming is man made" hoax hook, line and sinker like a good little cultist, they should not be allowed to hold elected public office in America.

Talk Radio News Service reported:

But when I hear a United States senator say, 'I'm not a scientist so I can't make a judgment,' or a candidate for president for that matter, I'm absolutely astounded. I mean, it's incomprehensible that a grownup who has been to high school and college in the United States of America disqualifies themselves because they're not a scientist when they've learned that the Earth rotates on its axis but they're not a scientist; where they've learned that the sun rises in the east and sets in the west and it does so 24 hours a day; and you can run the list of things that we know science tells us happens, and we accept it every single day.

And to suggest that when more than 6,000-plus peer-reviewed studies of the world's best scientists all lay out that this is happening and mankind is contributing to it, it seems to me that they disqualify themselves fundamentally from high public office with those kinds of statements.

He added that clean energy choices "are staring us in the face."

See it their way or be silenced and punished
Kerry and Democrats in general have proclaimed global warming to be so settled that anyone who disagrees should be unconstitutionally barred from serving the public. This sounds a lot like 1930s Germany, where you either joined the Nazi Party or you were relegated to second-class citizenship (if you survived, that is).

So much for the "democracy" part of the "Democratic" Party; like the Affordable Care Act, the language means exactly the opposite.

Maybe Kerry is onto something, right? As Investors Business Daily noted:

As is often said at children's parks all over the country, two can play this game. So we propose here that no climate change alarmist or uncritical believer in the man-made global warming story should hold high, medium or even low public office. It makes sense. Almost all of those who meet these descriptions are either: 1) political opportunists who are simply saying the right things to a voting bloc or some other group whose support they're courting, or 2) the sort of folks who haven't given the issue enough thought, in most cases because they don't want to.

It's ALL about control
Kerry's "6,000 studies" assertion is about as valid as Democrats' "97 percent of scientists believe in global warming" claim: not at all. This is about nothing but control; the elites want to control the masses through regulation and manipulation. It's really just as simple as that. Liberals like Obama and Kerry and the authoritarians at the United Nations have one thing in mind, and that is to ensure they have a thumb on your head from the second you are born until the second you die telling you how to live, how to eat, where you can and can't work and what rights you are entitled to, as Kerry's absurd statements about who should hold public office demonstrate.

Once you understand the basic concept behind this "manmade global warming" nonsense – and it is nonsense – you will begin to see through the lies and propaganda.
