(NaturalNews) In recent days following his rejection of the screening of an indie film that spilled the beans on the vaccine–autism link at his co-founded Tribeca Film Festival, Hollywood superstar Robert De Niro is facing a firestorm of criticism and suspicion about why he suddenly decided not to show the film after initially defending it and asserting that it would be screened.

The film, VAXXED: From Cover-Up to Catastrophe, notes in its film trailer that the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention covered up the MMR vaccine–autism link, which was first identified by Dr. Andrew Wakefield (who also directed and co-wrote the film), features additional whistleblowing information from Dr. William Thompson – a CDC scientist who exposed the MMR vaccine cover-up of which he was a part – as well a slew of parents whose children have developed the condition, many right after receiving the MMR shot.

As reported by The New York Times, De Niro, in a statement issued through the festival's Facebook page in February, defended his decision to screen the film while saying that he supports vaccination and was "not personally endorsing the film."

"Grace and I have a child with autism," he wrote, referring to his wife, Grace Hightower De Niro, "and we believe it is critical that all of the issues surrounding the causes of autism be openly discussed and examined. In the 15 years since the Tribeca Film Festival was founded, I have never asked for a film to be screened or gotten involved in the programming. However this is very personal to me and my family and I want there to be a discussion, which is why we will be screening VAXXED."

But then, suddenly – as reported by Natural News editor Mike Adams, the Health Ranger – De Niro reversed himself and pulled the film.

The question is why?

Adams says the decision came "following an intense censorship effort waged by the vaccine-pushing mainstream media and pharma-funded media science trolls."

Adams noted further:

To try to strong-arm De Niro into pulling the film, intense shaming pressure was brought to bear against Robert De Niro by the vaccine totalitarians, who told De Niro this documentary was so dangerous that no one should ever be allowed to see it. Vaccine safety, they insist, can't even be allowed to be DEBATED, they insist! Only one side of the debate may be seen by the public, and that one side must be the 100% pro-vaccine side which ridiculously claims that "the science is settled" even when no one is allowed to see the science they don't want you to see.

In a subsequent report, Adams noted that De Niro was pressured by the Sloan Foundation in New York City to drop the film. What's more, he discovered and reported additional information about the organization, which was founded by Alfred P. Sloan, Jr., then-head of General Motors, in 1934:

The Sloan Foundation is so named from Alfred P. Sloan, a Nazi collaborator and eugenics depopulation promoter. It's no coincidence that his own beliefs on using medical interventions to reduce race-targeted populations coincides perfectly with the stated depopulation goals of Bill Gates (whose financial web of influence is woven across the entire vaccine propaganda landscape).

Adams noted further that the Sloan–Tribeca link was discovered by freelance journalist Celia Farber after being tipped off by Dr. Wakefield. So the Sloan Foundation, which early on backed an as-yet-undeveloped AIDS vaccine, was able to single-handedly crush a film screening because it is also a major donor to the film festival, Farber noted.

There's more. Alfred Sloan – in violation of U.S. laws and regulations – continued to do business with Nazi Germany and supply the Third Reich with materiel and GM-sponsored support. In fact, according to the 1983 book Trading With The Enemy: An Expose of The Nazi-American Money Plot 1933-1949 by Charles Higham, Sloan "frequently visited Berlin, where he hobnobbed with Goring and Hitler."
