FOR THOSE WHO WAIT

There will be peace on earth again, a King will come and cleanse the land.

In this new land, there will not be sin, For only good can enter in.

Such beauty eye's have never seen, The valley's are forever green.

The deserts that are now so dry, Then, crystal rivers will flow by.

Sweet fragrance, then will fill the air, For flowers will bloom forever there.

Of every kind of fruit will be, Of every bird and flower and tree.

If children wander off too far, There will be no danger where they are.

The fierce beast will not be wild, They will roam through the meadows with the child.

The black and white will run hand in hand, On the sunny slopes of their new land.

There'll be no prejudice or racial shame, For every man will be the same.

There'll be no blind eyes or silent ears, No pain, nor death, nor grief or tears.

On perfect legs the lame will stand, No more twisted limbs or withered hands.

There will be no mute or stammering tongues, And old ones now, will then be young.

There'll be no wars for us to fight, No roaring guns to break the quiet.

No war planes will cross the sky, No hissing bombs, no battle cry.

There'll be no battle fields to scar our land, When our new Ruler takes command.

There'll be no broken homes or tears of grief, The whole world will be at PEACE!

When our new Ruler takes His throne, The whole world will break forth in song.
