War on NC schools transgender 'brainwashing' waged by Franklin Graham

Franklin Graham preachingWorld evangelist Rev. Franklin Graham is calling upon millions of his supporters to fuel his war against the pro-LGBT transgender agenda being implemented in North Carolina public schools – one that promotes a new brand of so-called “gender-bender” morality.

Graham took to social media to incite Christians and concerned parents to be alarmed about the recent use of a “Gender Unicorn” inside classrooms across one of the Tar Heel State’s largest school districts. The friendly and disarming animated character is reportedly being used to indoctrinate children to accept transgender behavior and other forms of homosexual practices as being moral.

“The Gender Unicorn?” Graham posed to his followers on Facebook – referring to the seemingly harmless rainbow-colored cartoon animal – according to WND. “Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools in North Carolina wants to try to brainwash our children into accepting that homosexuality and transgender behavior is okay – and they’re using an innocent looking Gender Unicorn to do it.”

Unicorn or Trojan Horse?

The son of the iconic world evangelist, Billy Graham, proceeded to warn parents of that the unicorn is really a Trojan Horse being used by public schools to turn their children toward embracing the homosexual lifestyle.

“Parents, watch out,” Graham continued. “They are using this unicorn to grab the imagination of children and make this seem acceptable.”

He alerted parents to brace themselves for what is to come later this month as the new school year and the dawn of a new era of sex education dawns on North Carolina’s schoolchildren.

“Their new school policy, set to go into effect August 29, says staff shouldn’t use the terms ‘girls’ and ‘boys,’ but should use ‘scholars’ or ‘students,’” the president of the Billy Graham Evangelical Association informed. “It says that the school will work with students to determine when parents should be involved and that the staff can’t tell parents what their [child’s] gender identity is without the student’s permission.”

The younger Graham insisted that Christians and all moms and dads across America should stand together in disgust about what is going inside school gates, nothing that similar propaganda has been used in decades past.

“Parents should be enraged and so should we,” the outspoken reverend expressed. “The Communists used brainwashing in Eastern Europe and Russia, and they took the parents out of the decision-making process and the state began to make decisions about morality. This is a dangerous path.”

Graham contends that everyone concerned about America’s children being led astray into a dangerous lifestyle should take action.

“Check out the link below – everyone should be aware of what’s going on,” he wrote. “You can be sure that these battles are being fought in your community as well, and if not, they’re just around the corner.”

He urges concerned citizens to do whatever they can to try and stop the full-fledged assault on children’s moral compass regarding sexuality.

“Be praying for the August 9 Charlotte school board meeting, and if you live in Mecklenburg County, make it a priority to attend,” Graham added. “Every school board members’ email address is in the link – you need to contact them and let them know how outrageous this is.”

Understanding the war

The link Graham provides for his followers directs them to the “Keep NCSafe” campaign, complete with the training that was presented to school district personnel on its new brand of homosexual teachings.

Blurring the lines of the two biological sexes, the new instruction points young students to use the term “other” as a legitimate option when describing their so-called “gender identity,” “gender expression” and “sex assigned at birth.”

“Meet the gender unicorn … This was included in the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools training presentation on handling transgender issues under the new CMS policy that goes into effect on August 29th,” the website of the campaign reads. “It’s startling that the school district feels they have sovereignty to directly disobey state statute as outlined in HB2, but some of the stuff in here is shocking.”

According to WND’s Bob Unruh, the new pro-LGBT school policy is geared to strip away parental rights.

“For example, whether parents are involved, or are even told, of what the student is doing at school is dependent on what the student wants, Unruh explained. “Further, they can choose their changing rooms as well.”

The North Carolina pro-family group insists that the school district is breaking the law by bulldozing its way through with its aggressive transgender program.

“It’s a serious offense for Charlotte-Mecklenburg schools to openly ignore and violate state statute and the common-sense safety and privacy protections HB2 affords children,” the campaign states. “But it’s a whole other level to guide teachers on keeping parents in the dark, and allowing students to choose which dressing room they use, or which gender they’ll stay with at overnight field trips.”

Ongoing assault

The battle for kids within North Carolina schools in the wake of the national headlines Charlotte has received regarding its pro-family law protecting women and children from transgender encounters in restrooms – which resulted in the National Basketball Association (NBA) pulling its All-Star Game from the city – is nothing new in America under the Obama administration.

“This is just the latest chapter in the developing war over just that activity – imposing a homosexual agenda and belief system on public schools in America,” WND’s Unruh noted. “It had been advancing on several fronts for years before earlier this year when President Obama abruptly ordered public schools to let girls into boys’ rooms and boys into girls’ showers – depending only on whatever gender they claimed to be.”

It has been argued by progressives in office that boys and girls using opposite sex facilities is a civil rights issue – as opposed to a safety one – and the debate has been frequently heard in the nation’s highest court of late.

“The mandate was supposed to have come from federal nondiscrimination law that banned discrimination against girls based on their sex,” Unruh added. “It presumes that Congress, when it adopted that law decades ago, intended for boys and girls to be showering alongside each other in public schools. There have been multiple lawsuits over the issue, and the U.S. Supreme Court just this week agreed to review one of the disputes, ordering the status quo – meaning boys in boys’ rooms and girls in girls’ rooms – be maintained for now.”

Cal Gallups, a pastor who authored Be Thou Prepared: Equipping the Church for Persecution and Times of Trouble, suggests that parents protect their children from transgender indoctrination by utilizing his “Notice of Compliance Letter.”

He equips parents by sharing Obama’s own words of advice directed to schools.

“[America’s schools have] a responsibility to provide a safe and nondiscriminatory environment for all students, including transgender students,” Obama instructed school officials, according to Gallups.

The Obama administration urged schools to carry out the law to its full extend.

“[H]arassment that targets a student based on gender identity, transgender status, or gender transition is harassment based on sex, and the departments enforce Title IX accordingly,” the White House declared.
