Eric Trump defends sister Ivanka from ‘disgusting’ slam by U.S. Olympian

The Trump family sticks together. Eric Trump came to his sister’s defense on “Fox & Friends” after U.S. Olympian Gus Kenworthy insulted her, questioning why she came to the closing ceremony of the games. “tf [the f***] is she [Ivanka] doing here?” Kenworthy tweeted.
Eric wondered aloud whether Kenworthy would have dared to insult a member of Obama’s family like that. We’re guessing not.

U.S. skier insults Ivanka
Kenworthy might have finished 12th in the slopestyle final last week, but he was going for gold in bad tweets with this clunker.
The potty-mouthed athlete tweeted a picture of his teammates that included a very direct snub at Ivanka.
“So proud of all these people! Everybody here has worked so hard to make it to the Olympics and have the opportunity to walk in the closing ceremony! Well… Everyone except Ivanka. Honestly, tf is she doing here??” he tweeted.



Some Twitter users hit back at Kenworthy.
“Given your dreadful performance, the real question sir is what TF where [sic] you doing there?” one wrote.


“Didn’t you finish last or in the bottom half of most of our ski competitions? I believe you did. Perhaps you should practice more on making yourself better and leave the political commentary to the experts,” another wrote.



Ivanka arrived in Pyeongchang on February 23 to lead the U.S. delegation through the closing ceremony of the Olympics. She said the purpose of her visit was to pressure North Korea to denuclearize — a good reason to be at the Olympics if there ever were one.

Speaking on “Fox & Friends” Monday, Eric Trump criticized Kenworthy for making a divisive, insulting remark during what should be a time of unity and celebration for all Americans. While America is already reeling from the impact of a recent school shooting, we should embrace the Olympics for what they are — a “time of happiness” — rather than an occasion for cheap insults.
“I think it’s disgusting. … That’s not what the Olympics is about. Politics should not enter into the Olympics,” he said.
Trump wondered aloud how people would react if it were Malia or Sasha Obama who had been insulted like Ivanka had.
