PUT ON THE WHOLE ARMOR OF GOD

The separate parts of the whole armor of God are;
Loins to girt about with truth blessedness,
Breastplate is of righteousness.
Feet shod with preparation of of peace,
And the Shield is of faith,
The helmet is salvation too,
And the sword is the Spirit to do,
Which is the Word of God.

These parts of armor have their purpose,
If only one piece is lacking we are in,
Danger of the Satan's vices injuring us and kin,
The devil is watchful for every weak spot,
So in our armor do stay in the heart.

Satan strikes where it does the most good for his purpose see,
To us it may not seem like much importance but it is the key,
Those who watch our lives may be disappointed in us,
And if we do not have God's Armor we may stumble and fuss.

God says for us to "Abstain from all form of evil."
Have you really stopped to think of the things you do?
They may not seem wrong to you but to God they may be,
Think about it, would it cause a brother or sister to fall,
Or even a sinner to go deeper in sin and miss his call?

The whole armor of God helps to gives us insight,
To see ourselves clearly and do what is right,
So the Spirit of God gives the desire to abstain from evil,
And even all appearances of evil, so no one will say--
"His life caused me to lose my faith."

"Put om the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil." Ephesians 6:11.
