Our Garden..

We had a large family garden and a big patch;
It had a fence and gate that closed with a latch.
We grew lots of large red and yellow tomatoes.
There we had watermelons and white Irish potatoes.

The red sun came out to make all the plants grow;
But the weeds came up too so we had to hoe.
Red beets were there we ate them and their tops for greens.
And we grew lots of green beans and good navy beans.

Cucumbers, peas, and carrots grew there too;
They were delicious when cooked in stew.
The onions and cabbage heads were green and very hard.
And we thanked God for all vegetables and the good sod.

Thanking God most for our health and the big garden to.
And in another part of the garden our strawberries grew.
We all really enjoyed eating them with shortcake too.
So we thanked God for blessing us with all the produce.

And we prayed and praised God for everything we knew..
And from our labor God blessed us with what we did too.
All our food was good and healthy and organically grown.
So we are thankful and grateful and praise God Almighty!
